I too hope you and your brothers and sister remain unscathed. It’s a heavy thing to have hanging over ones head.

Late onset Alzheimer’s is a bit of a roll of the dice — even if you have the genetic susceptibility — so it may have just been coincidence that both your grandmother and mother succumbed to it. Your doing the best things for yourself: eating well and exercising and keeping your mind active and creative.
